The Danish Chargé d'Affaires presents his compliments to

the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and referring to the Danish Ministers note No.89/V/60 of April 14th last relative to Captain Jacob Bendixen's property consisting of 10000 exclusive

of interests, sequestrated at Hongkong as enemy property has the honour to enclose a certified copy of three receipts of the money

which was deposited before the war by Mr. Bendixen with Messrs.

Jebsen & Co. of Hongkong.

M. Tage Bull further begs to enclose a translation into

English of a certified Copy of a certificate of Nationality issued

by the Danish Ministry of the Interior, from which it appears that

Mr. Bendixen has now become a Danish subject in virtue of article

one of the Danish Law of September 5th lest.

In view of this fret M. Tage Bull ventures to hope that

Farl Curzon of Kedleston will be good enough to use his kind

offices with the proper authorities so that Mr. Bendixen's property

may be released with the least possible delay.

London, 11th January, 1921.
