I have examined the accompanying Ordinance intituled
An Ordinance to amend the Rents
Ordinance, 1921,
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the
Governor's Instructions.

The bill was read a first time on the 27th October, 1921.
was then referred immediately to the Standing Law Committee, who met on the 28th October, and agreed upon certain recommendations.
These recommendations were adopted by the Council, and the bill was
amended and passed on the 3rd November,
