the Director of Public Works at the expense of the

Lessees and the cost thereof, estimated at $5,000 must be paid into the Colonial Treasury on demand.

(k) The drainage of any buildings erected on the lot to

be disposed of as may be required by the Director of

Public Works and the Lessees must make all arrange-

ments at their own expense and to the satisfaction

of the Director of Public Works for the disposal of

foul or contaminated water by the construction of

septic tanks or otherwise as that officer may

require.

(1) The Lessees to construct to the satisfaction of the

Director of Public Works such drains or channels as

that officer may consider necessary to intercept and carry off stom-water flowing on to the lot

from the hillsides.

(m) In the event of its becoming necessary or advisable

for consideration of health to carry out mullah- training works in the vicinity of the lot, the Lessees to pay into the Colonial Treasury, on demand, a sum to be decided by Government, towards the cost of such works. Any such works to be carried out by the Director of Public Works.

(n) The Lessees to pay the cost of removing any Chinese graves at present on the area, if such removal becomes necessary, the work to be done by the Tung Wah Hospital Authorities.

(o) The Lessees to pay the sum of $3.00 for each

boundary stone required to define the lot; the stones will be supplied and fixed by the Director

of Public Works.

(p) The Lessees to take up the Crom Lease when called

upon to do so by the Land Officer and to pay him the sum of £30.00 for the same.

(q) The exact boundaries of the lot to be determined

before
