With reference to your despatch lio.123 of
April 30th, 1921, concerning certain articles alleged to
have been taken from Hans Adolph, I have the honour to
transmit in original the accompanying correspondence which has been received from the Military Authorities in Hongkong. 2. In this connection I would refer to my
despatch No.55 of February 1st, 1921, and would suggest that
enquiry should be made of Major Lawder on whose instructions
the articles in question would appear to have been removed.
