With reference to Lord Milner's despatch
Circular (A) of the 8th of October, 1920, I have the honour to enclose for the signification of His Majesty's pleasure
the following Ordinance intituled:-
An Ordinance to facilitate the enforcement in the Colony
of Maintenance Orders made in England or Ireland and
vice versa, and to declare the application of the Married Women (Desertion) Ordinence, 1905, and to
amend the said Ordinance, No. 9 of 1921,
together with the customary report from the Attorney
General with regard to it.
2.
I shall be glad if arrangements may be made
for the issue of an Order in Council in accordance with
Section 12 of the Maintenence Orders (Facilities for
Enforcement) Act, 1920, extending that Act to the Colony of
Hongkong.
