history will be thus recorded:- under Birth enter 28.1.1898, under Harriage enter 5.5.1917.

NOTE: Should an officer have entered the Scheme as a Widower (with or without pensionable children) the particulars of his last wife will be artered on the line 1st. together with the date of her death (or divorce),

Should the officer enter as a married man the particulars of his then wife will be entered on the line lst, even though such marriage may in reality be a second one.

Should an officer have died and left a widow and pensionable children, and should such wife have subsequently died or remarried leaving children still pensionable on the 31st of December

then the date of her death should be entered under the appropriate colum, or, in the case of her remarriage, a note should be recorded on her line to the effect that she had "remarried on the

(date)".
