NOTE: (a) If the officer be still contri- buting, or shall have ceased to contribute by reason of the completion of his statutory period of contributionship (1.0. by having paid contributions for 35 years or reached the age of 65, whichever event shall first have happened), the date of exit will be left blank the officer, in such circum- stances, being still a member of the Scheme on the 31st of December

(b) In the case of an officer who had withdrawn from the Service before the com- pletion of his statutory period of contri- butionship having a wife land/or children of pensionable status) who possessed an acquired interest in the Scheme by reason of the contributions such officer had paid prior to his axit from the Service," the date of exit will not be filled in, but a note will be made under REMARKS to the effect that he had an "acquired interest on account of contributions paid up to (1.e, the date of such exit from the Service) lienos, in all such cases of early retirement from the Servicë, no bachelor, or widower (without pensionable children) will be included among these schedules.
Here insert, in every case the age next birthday at which contributions cease to be payable in accordance with the terms of the original contract at the date of entry, even though the officer has ceased to contribute as in Note (b) above; in these latter cases, however, the dates of (or ages at) cessation of contribution will not be coincident.
