My Lord,
With reference to Your Lordship's despatch No.421 of the 25th November, 1920, I have the honour to inform you that a sum of about 816,000 belonging to Mrs. Paul Brewitt is still held by the Custodian of Eneny Property in Hongkong.
I am advised, however, that Mrs. Brewitt still retains her German nationality and is at present domiciled in Germany and that under the circumstances she should claim compensation from the German Government in accordance with the terms of the Treaty.
