I have worked with Dr. James Smalley in Fiji in 1910-1911 and have known him since that date. He has done, and is doing, a very great deal of valuable surgery, in which he has helped me very considerably in my work. His range of knowledge of medicine and surgery in general is a very wide one and I should consider that he would be a valuable asset to any community which secures his services.
