I have had a large measure of administrative experience. A thorough knowledge of the villages has been gained during my 9 months' tour. The opportunity of improving the health of the people was open to me.
I acted as Medical Officer of Health & Port Medical Officer. In this capacity, I was attached to the Stipendiary Magistrate in the Colony and appointed in that capacity.
I also performed the duties of President of the Quarantine Board, having been appointed to Hong Kong by Sir Henry May, and accepted a post in that Colony in May 1913. I was subsequently transferred to Kowloon & New Territories, as Medical Officer.
