I have the honour to ask if I might be given a reply to my letter of last week in which I asked that I might be granted such proportionate part of my passage money as would have had to be paid by Government if I had not made my own arrangements for booking my passage. My ship is due to sail on the 26th and it would be very convenient to me to know if I am entitled to any portion of my passage money before she actually sails.
