I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of your letter of 10th inst.
I enclose herewith Certificate by Capt. W. J. Anderton, R.A.M.C. as to my fitness for service in the tropics.
I have to-day written to A.D.M.S. urging the necessity for immediate release and anticipate I shall hand over on the 24th inst.
Should there be any obstacle to proceeding direct on arrival, I shall return to England by the overland route to avoid loss of time and shall report to the Secretary of State.
