The Under Secretary of State for the Colonies
Sir,
I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of September 1, with reference to the death of my husband, M. Baddle... Ko, which I thank you for.
I shall be glad if you could tell me the amount of pension from the Hong Kong Government about this, or whether application should be made to the Hong Kong Government regarding this matter. My husband's death was entirely unexpected, so that he did not give me any instructions on these matters.
Yours faithfully
M. Badeley.
