5th January. My cypher telegram 14th December on advice of Admiralty Asiatic Petroleum Company have applied to me for information as to the terms on which they would be granted the lease of the former additional naval Coaling depot site at Kowloon for erecting fuel oil installation. They would require.permission to lay pipelines to connect the tanks with wharves under ail public roads and public property as well as alongside public wharves and jetties. Despatch follows.
