Dear Jr. Dixon,
With reference to your letter of the 15th September,
I have discussed the question of salaries with the Director. After careful consideration we are inclined to think, that it would be necessary to offer a salary of three to four-
£300 to £400 hundred in order to attract really suitable candidates at the present time for the vacancies for the ten Assistant Kistresses in Hong Kong. Fr. E. Ralphs, Inspector of English Schools in Hong Kong, who was a member of the Selection Committee, which interviewed the four candidates referred to in our official letter of August 27th, concurred in this view, We will send you an official letter to this effect in a few days' time.
pro/
Yours sincerely,
Robert F. Joung
