(6) The apparatus shall be open to inspection at all reasonable times by properly authorised officers of the Post Office.

(7) A fee of 10/- shall be paid. (It is contemplated that an annual clarge of 10/- shall be made in respect of each experimental receiving licence to cover the expenses of the issue of the licence and the inspection of the station).-

The applicant should furnish(by Letter, addressed to the, (a) a formal acceptance of the foregoing conditions;

(b) etidence and refcretices as described in (1);

(c) his full Christian names and particulars of his occupation; (d) a remittance of 10/-;

(e) a description of the apparatus which it is proposed to instal, and, if authority is desired for the use of valves, a diagram of the circuits in which they would be used;

(f) a sketch showing the form, height and dimensions of the proposed aerial (including leading-in-wires);

(g) the address at which the apparatus would be installed. Any wireless apparatus belonging to the applicant which is in Post Office custody will be released as soon as authority is granted for the use of such apparatus. The production of a permit from the Post Office for the use of wireless receiving apparatus will be suffi authority for the purchase by the person or firm to whom the perm been granted of such apparatus as comes within the terms of the peri The sales in these cases need not be reported to the Post Office by vendors. If necessary, this form as well as the permit for the use the apparatus, should be produced for the vendor's inspection.

N.B. Authority to use wireless apparatus cannot be issued to a minor (i.e. a person under 21 years of age). Application should ac be made on his behalf by his parent or guardian who should proceed indicated above and should, in addition, atate his (or her) relation to the minor. In such cases the evidence and references specified condition (1) should be furnished BOTE AS REGARDS THE MINOR AND DIS PARENT OR GUARDIAN. There would be no objection to a minor working authorised apparatus as the agent of his parent or guardian.

Reception of Wireless Signals.

With reference to you letter of the

am directed by the PostmasterGeneral to say that, pending the issue of a formal licenco, he authorises you to instal and use for the reception of wireless signals at

the apparatus ("not including valves) and aerial which you

describe.

It is however necessary to stipulate (*that the valves

shall be used in such a manner as to cause no interference with

other stations, and) that this permit is subject to withdrawal at

the Postmaster General's discretion, should cocasim arise.
