In further reference to the letter from the Department of April the let, the Nursing Committee have pleasure in recommending Hiss H.H. Purves to the Secretary of State, As a suitable candidate for appointment as a Nursing Sister in the Hong Kong Civil Hospital, to fill the remaining vacancy in that Colony.

I beg to enclose herewith Miss Purves' application form and papers, and to say that she will be prepared to leave England six weeks after hearing that she has been appointed.
