My dear Dixon,
I am sending you herewith a copy of a letter and
chart received from the Admiralty in connection with the
storage of oil fuel at Hong Kong. A copy has also been
Bent to Sir G. Fiddea and the question will come up for con-
sideration at the next Meeting of the 0.D.C. Can you let
me know as early as possible for Sir G. Fiddes' information,
whether there is any objection from the point of view of the
Oolonial Government.
I believe the War Office object to the proposed site.
You will observe that the Admiralty only ask for an
expression of opinion of the Committee from a defence point
of view.
0. W. Dixon, Esq., M.B.E.
COLONIAL OFFICE.
Grosincerely
FH Wilson
