With reference to latter (Ref.87/17/10) which was addressed to you by the Foreign Office on the 18th March 1920 regarding the institution of a uniform system for the control of the export of Opium and Kindred Drugs to foreign countries, I am directed by the board of Trade to transmit for the Secretary of State's information, copy of correspon- dence between this Department and the India Office regarding the suggested extension of this scheme to exports from India.
