In reply to your letter of the 28th ultimo, I am directed by Mr Secretary Shortt to acquaint you, for the information of Secretary Viscount Milner, that he has no

objection to the removal of John MacBean Tullock to this

country in accordance with the Colonial Prisoners Removal

Aat.

It is requested that this office may be informed

beforehand of the name of the ship on which the prisoner

will be conveyed and the probable date and port of arrival

in order that the necessary arrangements may be made.
