The Danish Minister presents his compliments to the
Secretary of State fer Foreign Affairs and, in reply to Fari
Ourzen's nete No.214182/N/30 of September 24th last regarding
the nationality of Alfred Emil Paterson, has the honour to
inform his Lordship that a declaration which is herewith enclosed
has now been received through the Danish Minister at Berlin to
the effect that Petersen has net acquired German nationality
and is not regarded by the German authorities as a German subject.
Under these circumstances M. de Grevenkop Castensald
entures to hope that there will be ne further delay in releasing
