Sir.
I have the honour to forward copy of a letter
from the Shanghai Marine Insurance Company, Limited,
e China Company, asking for rulings on the effect
of articles 6 and 8 of the China (Companies) Amend-
ment Order in Council, 1919.
His Majesty's Crown Advocate has drawn up a
Memorandum on the matter in which is included a pro-
posed set of rules oorresponding to those in force
under the corresponding Hongkong Ordinance.
