British-American Tobacco Company (China) Limited, (the majority of whose shares belong to British-Americen Tobacco Company Limited of London) will be transferred to the Hong Kong Register as a Hong Kong Company and the Registered Office, Management and Control of that Company's business will be transferred to Hong Kong from Shanghai,
The Directors of that Company will be:-
Sir H. Cunliffe-Owen, Bart., who is not and will not be resident in Hong Kong or China.
Thos. F. Cobbs, an American Citizen, Deputy Chairman.
The Viscount Acheson, a British Subject.
William Morris, an American Citizen.
W. B. Kennett, a British Subject,
and one other.
With the exception of Sir H. Cunliffe-Owen Bart., the Directors mentioned above will be resident in Hong
Kong.
Mr. W. B. Kennett will be the Secretary of the Company. The British-American Tobacco Company (China) Limited, is the selling Company in China of the Brands of the British-American Tobacco Company Limited, and it also
sells through its Organisation the Brands of Cigarettes manufactured by the British Cigarette Company, Limited.
The selling part of the business will be carried on
by five or six Departmental Managers, each in charge of a
principal section of the country and the Departmental
Manager will reside in the section of the country in which
he is interested; that is to say, Mr. Wolsiffer, an American
Citizen, will be the Departmental Manager in the Northern
Division
