I duly enquired as to the views of the Portuguess Devera-
ment in regard to the proposed repeal of the lengkeng
* Macao Extradition Vrdinanse 1881 *.
I have the honour to inform Your Lordship that I
have received a Note from the Acting Minister for Foreign
Affairs stating that the competent Colonial Authorities
having examined the considerations set forth by ne hars
reported favourably on the prepssal, and that the Pertu-
guess Governsent therefore agree with the spinion of His
Majesty's Government and see no objection to the revocat-
ion of the ordinance in question.
