I am directed by Earl Curzon of Kedleston to transmit to
you herewith for the information of the Secretary of State
for the Colonies copy of a letter from His Majesty's Consul
at Saigon, with inclosures, relating to the repatriation to
Canada via Hongkong of a Canadian British subject.
I am to add that Lord Curzon feels that the course taken
by Mr. Crosby in regard to this repatriation was the only possible one and to request that the Secretary of State will
be good enough to furnish his views on the point raised
by this correspondence.
