With reference to Foreign Office letter No.179732
100 of the 21th ultimo, I em directed by Earl Curzon of
Kedleston to inform you that His Lordship has received a further telegram from His Majesty's Minister et Bengkok
stating that the King of Siam will visit Japan about the
beginning of October accompanied by his Minister for
Foreign Affairs. His Majesty would like to visit
Hong Kong on the outward journey, lot homeward journey
es previously stated, and, subject to the approval of the
Governor, would propose to arrive there about September
20th for a few days.
Mr. Seymour enquires whether this visit will be
agreeable to His Majesty's Government and Lord Curzon
would be glad to be informed as to the reply which the
Secretary of State for the Colonies would wish him to
return to Mr. Seymour.
I em to add that the Governor of Hong Kong hes
already been informed by telegraph of the King of Sism* ·!
