Have hadmatter brought informally to notice of Minister of Marine Admiral Sdh who was much interested and promised to
look into it.
Feel it would not be politic, without Your Lordship's direct instructions to make direct representations as in
the event of a Sino-Japanese incident our position might
prove awkward.
