RECS

With reference to your letter of tBEL JUNCO 28521/1920 enclosing a copy of telegraphic correspondence with the Governor of Hong Kong regarding the use of the wireless station at Stonecutters for the transmission of time signals and meteorological bulletins, I am commanded by My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to acquaint you that as far as the W/T organisation is concerned there would be no difficulty in arranging for two time signals a day (say at 0200 and 1400 G .M.T) and under normal con- ditions there is no doubt that the range of Stonecutters would be considerably greater than that of D'Aguilar.

2. I am therefore to request that the Governor of Hong Kong may be asked to confer with the Naval Commander- in-Chief, China Station, as to the passibility of Stonecutters undertaking this duty.

I am, Sir,

Your ovedient Servant,
