With reference to our representative's call on
you last month I shall be glad if you will advise me of the probable date when the question of the extension, to an indefinite period, of the Mercantile Bank Note Ordinance will be placed before the Legislative Council. My Head office are anxious that the matter should be settled as soon as possible.
