My telegram 4th August. Your telegram 18th September. port Medical Officer of Health Lindsey Woods declines appointment it is matter of greatest importance to fill vacancy by January 1st. Would be glad if suitable candidate could be obtained as early as possible so as to enable him to commence to do duty by that date. He should be young.
