Mr. A. W. Schellhass was a German broker whose affairs were partially liquidsted. He was deported in October, 1914.
Mr. Theodore Christiani was a German broker, and is
now resident at Oldenstadt b/Uelzen, Hannover. Mr. C.A.H.Westerburger was a senior assistant of the
German firm of Arnhold Karberg & Co. liquidated under the war legislation. He was reported to be a German, he was a member of the German Club. He was resident at Shanghai in August 1914. I find however in one place he was referred to as Dutch or a resident of Holland.
Mr. R. Fuhrmann was a partner in the German firm of
Reuter Brockelmann & Co. liquidated under the war legislation. His present address is c/o Heyn Brockelmann & Co., Barkhof 3, Hamburg, The shares were deposited in the Chartered Bank in name of Reuter Brockelmann & Co. Walter Naumann to whom some 55 of the shares are said to belong (c.f. slip attached to the shares) was an assistant in the firm's branch at Tientsin, and was a prisoner of war at Nagoya, Japan.
