The cases were opened on information received from P.& 0. Company and found to contain Peacock Feathers. The goods were released but a summons was taken out against the consignee for false declaration. When the case was heard, it was declared that the master of the shop had gone out of the Colony and left only an assistant in charge and the case was remanded sine die.
