Saturday, 13th January 1918.
Removed to the Government Civil Hospital Lance Sergeant A8 Johnston suffering from a shot wound in the head behind the right ear found lying in the centre of Queen's Road East opposite to No.104, by Indian Police Constable B332. Dr. Ma Luk who came up on the scene dressed the wound. Whoever committed the act left no trace of his identity. Hon. Captain Superintendent of Police and all stations noti-!?! -fied.
