(3) Deportee Accounts are paid on separate
Advance Warrants, settled quarterly, viz.
I. Dutch East Indies
II.
Indo-China
£1,500.
$2,500.
(4) Guards pay is also paid on an Advance
Warrant of 89,000 accounted for each month by paysheets showing the amount due to each guard and his signature.
(5) No temporary receipts are issued. (6) No advances are made to Police except
advances of rewards and suns necessary for transfer. (The Station Advances are too
small to be utilised for this purpose). (7) Hess Accounts have to be passed by a
Superintendent.
(8). Payments for special services are made
under the supervision of a Superintendent. These payments, which include Theatre Duty,
Special Duty on Steamers, ac. and at
private residences, will, it is hoped,
cense when the new salaries come into force.
The audit of the statement of accounts submitted here-
with has not yet been completed.
