My Lord,
With reference to Your Lordship's circular despatch of the 23rd January, 1920, I have the honour to forward for the information of the Imperial Forestry Conference a copy of a report by the Superintendent of the Botanical and Forestry Department setting out the position, as requested, in this Colony.
I regret that this matter has been delayed through the death of Mr. W. J. Tutcher, the Superintendent of the Botanical and Forestry Department, who, it was hoped, might have been able to attend the Conference.
