I have the honour to report that I have granted

nine months' leave of absence on full pay to the following officers of the Hongkong Police Force:-

and leave of absence without salary to Police Constable Charles Farrington for such period as he may require to settle some urgent private affairs, which it is expected will be completed within three months after arrival in England.

These officers, together with Lance Sergeant Thompson, who has been placed on pension, Lance Sergeants Williams and Kenneally, and Police Constable Kirby, who have been permitted to leave the force, are travelling home by the S.S."Antilochus" in charge of repatriated Czecho-Slovak troops from Siberia and will be considered on duty for the period of the voyage until these troops are disembarked at Ragusa (Adriatic) or elsewhere, and their leave will commence from that date. The Crow Agents have been fully informed.
