Fed to the end of 1919 on
Siqle, count of the storage &c. of
cargo discharged ex S.S."Toku- -yama Maru" during February, 1918, together with covering
vouchers for payment.

Such portion of the cargo as consisted of locomotive material which was stored with the Hongkong and Kowloon Wharf and Godown Company, Limited, was forwarded to Vladivostock by the S.S."War Charger" in March, 1919, under the authority of a letter from Lieut.-Colonel A. Jack, R.E., of the British Military Mission, Vladivostock.

In April, 1919, the ammunition which had been stored in Rennie's Mills was also forwarded to Vladivos- -tock by the S.S."Vitim" so that there now remains out of the cargo originally discharged only the rails, fishplates, bolts and spikes stored on ground belonging to the Kowloon-Canton
Railway.

of this material 83 pieces of rails and
4 bundles of fishplates were purchased by the Railway on
behalf of local industries which were seriously handicapped
