With reference to my name still appearing on the SuperHuBerry List of Officers of the Hong Kong Defence Corps in the rank of 2/11out I would like to point out
that I was promoted to Fieut in the Hong Kong Volunteer Corps in October 1914 and that continuously since that date I have served in the British Army and Air Force on active service with the rank of Acting Captain and for a time as Brigade Major.
I would like this matter cleared up in order not to lose seniority to those Officers who have not been on active service. May I write direct to the present 0.6. on the matter please?
the following I shall be glad if you will send mo documents - Miscellaneous No 117 and Miscellaneous No 115.
