Increase of pension.

Has learned that members of H.K. Civil Service are receiving increase in salaries of 10% for 1918 to be continued for 1919 owing to increased cost of living in Hong Kong, asks that this increase be applied to his pension.

Last previous Paper.

He is told that this increase only applies to present Govt. officials, and not to pensioners male.

He was also told that he was at liberty to accept remuneration from any Govt. work in connexion with the war without any abatement of his pension (5745/6), & it is possible he may take advantage of this.
