I have the honour to transmit to you copy of cablegram despatched to you this day asking for information regarding Mr. Dallin's return. A communication was received by His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government from the Secretary of State in May last stating that Mr.Dallin was returning to the Colony shortly, and that the Crown Agents had been instructed to procure his passage. Since the receipt of the above no further communication has been received, and in view of my pending tour of inspection, and the subject matter of my latter to you No. 26/78 of December 11th 1918, I deemed it necessary after consideration to send you a cablegram.
