I am directed by Earl Curzon of Kedleston
to state for the information of Secretary Viscount Milner, that His Majesty's Embassy at Washington have asked for information, to enable them to reply to enquiries as to the financial condition of enemy houses in Hong Kong at the time of their liquidation early in the war.
Lord Curzon would be glad if two copies of any report on this subject which may be in existence could be communicated for transmission to Washington.
