I, CHARLES SASSOON GUBBAY residing at No.10 MacDonnell Road
Victoria Hongkong and carrying on business at No.7 Queen's
Road Central Victoria in the Colony of Hongkong Merchant,
Manager in Hongkong of the Firm of Messrs. E.D. Sassoon & Co.,
Merchants and a Justice of the Peace for the Colony of Hongkong
do solemnly sincerely and truly declare and say as follows:

I have been a householder in the Colony of Hongkong since
the year 1894.
2. I am a merchant and Manager in Hongkong of the firm of
Messrs. E.D. Sassoon & Company,
Merchants.
3. I am a natural born British subject having been born in
Hongkong on the 30th day of November 1867.
4. I am not the agent or solicitor of the applicant Raymond
Menashih Joseph.
5.
I have known and been well acquainted with the Applicant
the said Raymond Menashih Joseph since the year 1898.
6. I have read the Memorial of the said Raymond Menashih
Joseph which is now produced and shewn to me and is marked "C.S.G" and can state from my personal knowledge of the said Raymond Menashih Joseph that the statements contained in the
