application to Portugal and the
Portuguese Colonies, At the present
time, however, the concurrent operation
in Hong Kong of the Imperial Acts and of
the Ordinance mentioned tends to create
difficulties and delays in the grant of
extradition from that colony to Macao
which would be largely obviated by the
repeal of the Ordinance.

considerations before the Portuguese
Government in approaching them in the
matter.
