With reference to your letter of the 7/6/19 Hong Kong 5428 I am sorry to hear my application for Loco Driver Trinidad has been unsuccessful as I
am desirous of joining the Colonial Railway Service, With saference to the operation for Varicose Veins I have not taken any action in the matter yet as my Mother is at present in the Hospital undergoing a
serious operation and I cannot go into Hospital until she is quite recovered from the effects of same.
