With reference to your letter of the 8th August, No.45010/1919, I am commanded by My lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to acquaint you for the information of the Secretary of State that They note that it is proposed to erect on the Happy
Valley site, Hong Kong, twelve four-roomed houses with Servants' quarters, to be completed by the 30th June 1920, and that They will be pleased to accept the Secretary of State's offer to place six
of these houses at the disposal of the Admiralty
for two years at a rental of 75 dollars per month
each.
