With reference to your letter of the 11th instant re
my application for permission to have a small experimental Fire-
-less station, may I suggest that the following be brought to the
attention of the Secretary of State for the Colonies:-
During the late war, I held a commission as Captain in
the Royal Engineers and after I was invalided from France I was attached to the Inspection Division at the Royal Dockyard at
Moclwich sa Assistant Inspector of Wirala Apparatus. I was
"mentioned in despatches" for my work at Toelwich m2, subiant' to your approval, I am a suitabla person to whom such permission way
be grated.
It is conceivable that circumstances wigns arise man it would be or advantage to have someone in Hongkong who is
familiar with modern Service Wireless apparatus.
