(1). The lessees to take up the Crown Lease when called

upon to do so by the Land Officer and to pay him the sum of 830 for the same.

(m). Nothing in the conditions or in any subsequent

undertaking shall limit the power of the Railway Authorities to use their line adjacent to this property in any manner and for any purpose what- either -soever that they may consider necessary,

day or night, neither shall any operations of the Railway Authorities adjacent to the site be con- -sidered a nuisance.

(n). The exact boundaries of the new lot to be determined

before the issue of the Crow Lease.

(o). The Committee of the Diocesan Boys School must

notify the Superintendent of Botanical and Forestry Department in the event of their requiring the removal of any trees from the area; such trees will be duly removed by his Department.

8. I have not, pending the receipt of your reply, mode any offer to the Committee and it is possible that it may be necessary to make some modifications in the pro- -posals now put forward, when the time comes for closing the bargain. If, therefore, Your Lordship approves of the con- -olusion of the exchange on the general lines here indicated I would ask that I may be authorized to make any minor modifi- -cations that may be required in order to bring both parties

to agreement.
