where necessary to prevent landslips in the event of any excavation being carried out in order to level the area, or in the event of material being depositeu

on the area for a like purpose. Should a landslip occur as a result of such outting or levelling the lessees will be held responsible for any damage resulting from or oraught about by such landslips. No spoil or levelling from the excavation may be deposited within 15 feet of any railway cutting. (g). The design of the exterior elevations anu the plan-

-ning and disposition of any building proposed to be erected on the new lot to be subject to the special approval of the Director of Public Works. (h). The positions, widths, etc., of the roads shewn on

plan may be varied by the Government but at least 2 rights-of-way will be granted from Government roads, in positions approved by the Director of Public

Works.

(i). Drains or channels must be constructed to the

satisfaction of the Director of Public Works and where that officer may consider necessary to inter – -cept and carry off any stormwater from the lot on to the roads or adjacent land. Drainage into Railway stormwater drains or culverts may only be carried out with the permission of the Railway Authorities. (j). The lessees of the new lot to pay into the Colonial

Treasury, within 7 days of the date of the latter mentioned in (a), the sun or $2,000 towards the cost of construction of a stormwater culvert on the South-east side of the lot. The work to be carried out by the Director of Public Works.. (k). The lessees to pay the sum of $6.25 for each

boundery stone required to define the lot; the stones will be supplied and fixed by the Director
