to obey or impeding the execution of any such orders.
Section 4 excuses a breach of contract in so far as it has
been caused by any requisition.

Section 5 enacts that the Government shall not make a profit
on the total proceeds of all sales of rice.

Section 6 prohibits the removal from the Northern District of
any rice without the permission in writing of the District Officer.
Section 7 provides for the fixing of retail prices of particu-
lar qualities of rice.

Section 8 provides for Standard Government qualities of rice.
9. Section 9 makes it an offence to sell rice purporting to be of
Standard Government quality when it is not such.

Section 10 prohibits the sale of any rice supplied by the Gov-
ernment except under a licence from an officer appointed by the
Governor.

Section 11 prohibite the mixing of different qualities of rice
and their mixture with any foreign substance.

Section 12 contains a power of entry and inspection and of
taking samples.
13. Section 13 is a penalty clause.

Section 14 contains a saving of other powers.

Bection 16 gives power to the Legislative Council by resolution
to suspend or revise the Ordinance or a part thereof.
