My Lord,

I have the honour to inform Your Lordship

that I have received an application from Messrs. W. S. Bailey and Company, who have been carrying on business for a number of years as Engineers and Shipbuilders, for an extension of their present holdings at Shek Shan, Kowloon, as show edged red on the attached plan. The area they wish to acquire amounts to about 138,150 square feet, all of which will have to be re-

-claimed from the sea.,

2.

The area in question is of no use to any but owners of the Marine Lots 53, 52 and 67 and connot be dig- -posed of to others without interfering with the marine rights of these lots, and I recommend that the area should be granted as an extension to the present holdings of Megara, W. S. Bailey and Company without auction and upon the follow-

-ing conditions:-

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE
